So this weekend, James and I decided that we were going to remodel the front bathroom. Well, that meant that we would have to remove the tile in not only the bathroom, but in the mud room, where the washer and dryer are, too. We started on Friday, and we JUST finished getting all of the tile up in the two rooms (which total 120 sq. ft), and leveled the floor with leveling compound (which looks like more of a mess than a solution). Tomorrow, we will be putting in the beautiful natural slate tile, and I cannot wait. We also are putting in a Kholer sink, which is a vast improvement over the shitty sink that was in there.
I can’t wait till it is finished, and I will post many, many pictures of it, when it is done, I will even take some picture of the process, so that I can remember that, yes we actually did go through this process. If you ever decide to do this, just know that it is really hard work, and that you WILL fight with your partner. You will. LOL, but, you will get through it, and your bathroom will hopefully be beautiful when you are done. WE are painting tomorrow, and tiling tomorrow night and Monday. Can’t wait to see the finished product!! I know that you can’t either. Now you will have to sit in anticipation, just like me, but your back will not be sore, and your hands will not ache… that is all me and James. Till later kids!!!
