The Debate… dun dun dun….

Last night I believe that Americans finally got to see some of what Kerry is made of. He showed intelligence, confidence, and the ability to “get the job done”. I completely feel confident in my vote for Kerry as president, because he would A: make an awesome president, B: try to fix many of the things that have gone wrong with the current administration, C: not knowingly and willingly lie openly to the American public over and over again, and D: do everything better than Bush has, because he has a different stake in things. And by this, I believe that as a senator for 20 years, Kerry does have the people in mind when he makes decisions. He does not have money, oil, and leverage making his decisions for him. That is something that we cannot truly, without a shadow of a doubt, say about the current administration. There are too many things that people write off as coincidence that just aren’t, my friends. Come on… the biggest PUUUULEASE is the Halliburton involvement in Iraq and the middle east. That is a big Ding Ding Ding on my radar… should be for most everyone else too.

But now I am starting to ramble. And we don’t want to do that. But seriously, Kerry would rock as president.

One thing that I noticed in last night’s debate was the president continually saying that he was there to fight the war on terror and eliminate the hate in the world. Waging a war on hate doesn’t have to start overseas. It certainly, and definitely needs to start here. In 2004 bigotry and hatred cannot be allowed, not here and not anywhere. The Christian conservatives that are forcing these marriage amendments and trying to destroy domestic partner benefits are the terrorists in this country. I say that, because terrorists do things to destroy other people because they hate them so much. Well, that sounds like a description to me. All the gays, lesbians, transgender, etc. want is to be LEFT ALONE, and allowed to have the same rights as everyone else. If you want to do something to “uphold the sanctity of marriage” prevent divorce… see how far you would get with that you hypocrites!

But anyways… I don’t feel that Kerry would force this hate regime like the current conservative administration has, and wouldn’t single out a particular group in the way that Bush has. This is yet another reason that we need to end the reign of terror now. Vote for Kerry folks. If you don’t agree with him, read. Find out what he has to say. Find out the TRUTH. Don’t believe what the media tells you, they tell you what they want to tell you. It is up to you to find out for yourself, and if you don’t, you are just as bad as they are. Seriously… read up, you may learn in the process.

And as for the debate… score one for us… baby. Till next debate! (which I hope we win that one too!) YAY!
