I bought an IKEA faucet yesterday (4/22/2012)…same thing! I went to Lowes (before I read this post) and fumbled around and walked out with $42 worth of things to make this work…then…I read this! Returned my pile of parts to Lowes and walked into ACE they had everything you described for $20.

IKEA this is really silly. 98% of all sinks in the US are a 3/8 valve connector. WHY? WHY? WHY? are your faucets made to connect to a 1/2 valve!?

Anyhow, thanks for this post and listening to my rants.

FYI – My Grudstal faucet did not come with the adapter that some of you claim to have found in the box!

I have never tasted another type of coke than the classic coca cola. When I heard about Diet coke vanilla I thought that this MUST be the coolest thing ever invented, it was then my heart fell they dont sell it in Norway!!!!!!

I find it funny that this is still extremely relevant even three years later. I went to our local Ace hardware yesterday (before reading your post) to buy whatever would fit these stupid hoses. I merely had to say the words “Ikea faucet” and the manager handed me everything I needed. Love them! Ikea does boggle the mind sometimes.

Some nice tracks in the mix this week! Loved Vanbot & Penguin Prison. I can’t say that Cher Lloyd or One Direction really do it for me. I know OF Westlife but I can’t say I’ve heard much of their music at all. I like the track that you posted.
