  I wanted to like this more, but the way their relationship ended (don't worry, that's not a spoiler, it says so in the beginning of the movie) just left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Oh well, I guess not everything can end happily, and not everyone is kind.

  I enjoyed it for exactly what it was; a mindless end-of-world thriller that relied solely on special effects to fill what the plot certainly could not. Overall, completely unrealistic, but fun on blu-ray.

  In all honesty, there is no way I could have done anything less than loved this movie. The story is sad, haunting, and beautiful. Tom Ford's direction is a thing of beauty (I love the special attention to lighting the mood of the lead character). Colin Firth is a dreamboat and Julianne Moore is decadent. All around, wonderful.

  I have to say, one thing that will seemingly always be a saving grace of cartoons and animated films from here on out, will be how incredibly beautiful they are to watch in blu-ray. That being said, that element definitely elevates the rating, because the story, while entertaining, wasn't really anything new. Good for kids, though!

  What a wickedly sad movie. It was weird in the respect that they never truly explained why the little girl was so upset over the discovery that her sister had sex with someone. Regardless, it was difficult to figure out what was happening in the beginning, but the ending really makes your heart drop. It's a good movie, but not one that I would say qualifies as best of the year.

  I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would. It was beautiful, and even though the story was a rehash of other, previously told stories, it was entertaining enough to keep it moving for the entire 3 hours of the film. Did I mention it was beautiful?!

  For whatever reason, I resisted watching this movie, even though I wanted to see it. I have no idea what I was thinking after watching it; this movie is excellent!! I loved all of it; from the offbeat characters they encounter on their trip, the main characters themselves, and of course the music. Overall, a great movie that just felt good watching, and is totally enjoyable throughout.

  I thought it was really cute, and very funny. Amy Poehler is hilarious, and Tina Fey can really do no wrong in my eyes; everything I have ever seen from her is comedic gold. Also, Steve Martin may just be one of the funniest guys alive. He is just hilarious.

  It was entertaining, but kind of strange to be watching a cartoon with such serious plot lines. I guess it was because the queen reminded me of a character from Shrek that I just had a hard time connecting. Either way, it was fun.

  As much as I usually love Amoldovar's films, this one left me just 'meh'. A friend of mine informed me that a big portion of the movie referenced one of his previous films, and that the reference was pretty relevant to following the story, so since I missed the movie in question, I guess that explains my lack of interest. Oh well.

  What a harrowing story; I shudder at the thought that it happened. My deepest sorrow for Christine Collins and the horrible things she had to go through because she was not willing to accept what a corrupt police department forced upon her. Angelina was amazing in this role.

  I don't know why so many people were disappointed by this movie; I thought it was very enjoyable. The action was nice, the special effects were epic at points, and the story moved along quite nicely. It was also nice to look at Sam Worthington for almost 2 hours. Overall, I wish I would trusted my instincts and not listened to so many people; I knew I would probably like this one, and I did.

  Surprisingly, this movie was quite amazing. Just the prospect of how it was filmed was exciting and it must have been crazy to try and film. The only thing that detracts from the rating is the lack of resolution, and the nausea that comes from watching a hand-held camera movie.

  If you haven't seen the other F&F movies, don't bother with this one. We watched about 45 minutes, and it pretty much picked up where the last Walker/Diesel F&F movie left off, meaning I had no idea what was going on. It was slow, and boring to boot, so we just stopped it.

  While this movie was cute and entertaining, it was predicable (which was, well, predictable). Overall, a great kids movie, and fun to watch. I do have to say, that Zach Galifianakis had to of checked everything about himself at the door when walking on the set; there is NONE of his personality in this movie. That being said, he was still completely adorable, and I would still have his children.

  It was entertaining, and Jessica Alba was really funny in some parts. Overall, I was shocked by the misogynistic nudity and treatment of women, but on the flipside, I guess, that at least they showed Dane Cooks butt a lot.

  The first feature, Planet Terror, was an over-the-top laugh fest, and I loved it. The fake trailers are awesome and hilarious. The part where the film lags, is the first hour of the second feature, Death Proof. I will have to see this one again, because honestly, we didn't make it all of the way through Death Proof; and I think the rating reflected that fact.
