i don’t think interscope ever had any doubts Gaga would make it big. they timed it very strategically; the official radio single release of “Just Dance” was done right before her Grammy nod. apparently prior to that all the spins she got were not “official”. it just irritates me that she’s clearly onto her second single already… enough already with “just dance”!!! hehehe

The wife bought this CD and has really been enjoying. The little one loves to dance with it also. Amazing how she really came from no where and is just ripping up charts here and across the pond.

Great list over all btw. I am going through lala.com trying to find a lot of these now.

Funny how you and I should differ so about Eh eh. I really do like the album, but I found that lyrically, many of the songs seemed the same to me. They all had the same theme and feel, and many of them used the same words and phrases. I was hoping for a broader experience. But then you hit the little gem Eh eh, and it was fabulous because it was so unlike everything else on the album. It proved to me that she could do a different style and make a different type of pop song! I think Eh eh is adorable and is one of my favorites on the CD.

I know she is glam and fierce and all that but I really do hope she can broaden her songwriting skills and work on her lyrics. Singing about money and fame is one thing, but that is not all you have to sing about! And we know fame rhymes with game. But other things do, too!
