Too me, it is more mellow and I miss all that great acoustic guitar angst! All this to say, that while it is a great album, it's not my favorite Shins album (yet). Glad to see you didn't forget it! Second, I love this album. I think that what you said is exactly why it wasn't initially in my consideration; it came out early, I loved it, and then it got inevitably pushed to the back of my memory by newer stuff coming out. Needless to say, I overcame that, and here it is! Definitely deserved of being on the best of 2007 CDs list; it's fabu! First of all, it’s good to hear from you kat! Second, I love this album.
