Kevin is the better parent. He walked out on her while she was pregnant, but he never shrugged his fatherly duties. Kevin Federline is a lot of things, but so far as I've seen, a bad father is not one of them. Britney has been seen driving with a baby in her lap... multiple times. And she's always out partying(even days before the hearing in which she lost her children). And she's had to spend some time in rehab. And you're never going to go to rehab for doing anything that makes you a good mother. And she's been found to be using illegal drugs. And she was convicted of a hit and run(probably with her children in the car, but I don't know the details), and she's been driving without a license. So far as Wikipedia and I are aware, Kevin Federline hasn't been convicted of any crimes since having children. And I haven't heard of anything he's done to endanger their lives. And I don't chalk anything in parenting up to "rookie mistakes." Not when you're talking about something as horribly dangerous as driving with a baby in your lap. That is beyond ridiculous. I think that you are doing what a lot of people do; blaming her for rookie, childish mistakes. She is practically a child after all. Look at all the other famous girls around her age (think Lohan); growing up in the public eye has consequences, and a lot of what would be seen as normal "early twenties" behavior, is blown out of proportion. I never said she was perfect, and never forgave her for the things you mentioned, but how much of it do you know to be real, and how much of it is circumstantial. No one knows what is going on with Britney other than Britney. It is the same as when Brad and Jennifer were seperated; people said awful things about Jolie, and how she made Brad cheat, but the only people who know what happened were the three of them. I think that the media is made to spin and twist things to make them seem "newsworthy", when the people that get hurt are the kids, like in this case. I don't think she should win "mom of the year", but I don't think she has done anything that is that horrible either.
