He’s still not feeling well, and frankly, we don’t know what’s wrong with him. Today, James and I are going to see if we can take him in for an ultrasound and possibly, an x-ray. His blood tests and fecal tests were normal, yet he isn’t improving, and still doesn’t want to eat.
We keep feeding him boiled chicken, like the vet suggested, but he won’t eat very much of it at all. I am honestly just scared for him, because we can tell that he has lost weight; and with a dog this small, any weight loss is not good.
This is pretty much my primary concern right now, and my current obsession; I really hope that my little man gets better soon. Please keep him in your thoughts and whatnot, because he definitely loves a little support.
I will update with new information as I get it. Here’s hoping that it is just a little cold or something like that, and it will pass. I have faith that he is going to get better soon… whether he wants to or not!

Sending Sydney a big hug - hope he feels better soon!! And that goes for you too!!
Poor Sydney. I hope he feels better. Tell him I have been sick just like him for two weeks, too. He MUST eat! GET WELL!
just a thought… has the vet throroughly checked his teeth?
worried with the recent soft dog food scare, my dad carried Sasha (peek-a-pooh) in because she would no longer eat when he swtiched back to the pellets.. they ran tests, etc.
in spite of tooth cleaner treats & teeth-frienldy foods, it turned out the 5 year old pooch had 5 teeth that needed to be pulled. a few days later, she was back to her normal appetite…
well… except for a small gap in the front where she smiles…
Try rice - dogs love rice and it’s good for them…
My thoughts are with you. I have a Bichon and wouldn’t know what to do with myself if something happened to her. Hope there’s good news soon.
I don’t mean to practice vet medicine over the internets, but Oz stopped eating before his attack too. Nothing ever showed up on the tests they ran when he had seizures, but after bleeding out his butt, they were able to tell he had Addisons. I hope you it turns out to be nothing serious and he bounces back to his old self.
I hope everything is OK with Sydney!!! Having two pets myself, I totally understand how this can really worry the piss out of ya! They become family members and what affects them affects you!
Best wishes to all three of you!!!
Glad to hear he’s doing better. He is a cutie.
