Geez. I am glad he just hit the shed and didn’t try and get in the house. I am glad you at least identified him, though. Now he might think twice before trying it again. Is Sydney doing better?

otterlpb that is a great idea! You should do the Duane! The news here would love to get this story and run with it (I would think) and in my opinion they should. You pay your taxes (I am assuming) and deserve to feel safe in your own home. I would be totally irate if the police treated me like this and I had a video of the person in action stealing anything of mine and I had gone as far as to give them a name and a place of residence of the perp. I would have asked them to try to get fingerprints too….

Just ask the local news to run the story and show the video, tell them the police won’t act on it. Local news shows up here love that stuff, yours might too!

… and now he knows you have a HD Tivo, so he won’t stop at the shed next time.
I’ve reported theft to the cops before too - even told the cops where the guy was living. Basically if they caught him in the act of doing something else, they might bother with my charges.
