My high school taught abstinence only and many girls in my class got pregnant. Children should know how to protect themselves. I was raised by wonderful parents, good student, goody-goody all around and I had sex in highschool. Kids do it regardless of what adults think.... Duane - They should have mentioned that Rent has more talk of family than many kids movies I have seen (not that my kids will see it until they are older teens) and I skip the beginning of Finding Nemo for my son! I loved that it lists "the effects of AIDS" as one of the things in it that you should avoid seeing. Ummm... wouldn't it be a GOOD thing to show your children the "affect of AIDS"... so that they're well informed about what could happen to them if they're unsafe when you send them out into the world alone? haha..
