still playing with the new lens…

I mean, how much fun can this thing be? A lot, I tell you! I also picked up some of those “under the cabinet lights”, which are essentially long fluorescent lights, and using two in tandem gives a pretty great light effect.

I am going to build kind of a photo box type set up tomorrow with some 2x4s, and solve my poor light problems of the past. I don’t know what took me so long to get this stuff to be honest… Oh well, I am sure that I will have to re-explore my adventures with fruit photography now!

It is also great, because I won’t have to take pictures of everything outside!! How novel, eh? I also need a tripod, but I guess a little a time, right? Hope everyone is having a kick ass weekend!

I can’t wait until peach season – I want to take pictures of them on the tree and see if I can capture the FUZZY feeling!! You are doing a great job – send money – my new hobby is costing me a fortune!!

I’ve never hear the words ‘photo box’ and ’2x4s’ in the same sentence before!

Check on ebay for a good deal on a speedlite external flash…then you can move outside with this crazy addiction!

Bugboy, I couldn’t tell you; I’ve always had it for as long as I could remember. I want to say that I found it, or that my Grandma and I found it. Either way, pretty cool, eh?

Deb, I really do want a flash, but this was definitely a cheaper idea, and is definitely giving me some great indoor light. I haven’t broken out the 2x4s yet, but I still might!

Yeah, I have some too, but I was thinking you may have found it outside in those old places you are always taking pictures of, is why I asked.
