Martha Logan OWNS. Jean Smart brings the crazy, but such subdued and controlled crazy that it’s just awesome when she, oh, goes and stabs someone. And then says, “Why are they doing this to me? I deserve a medal!” When she was chopping that kiwi, I thought surely she’s gonna lose a finger here. Who else experienced a curious mix of amusement and revulsion when she slid that raspberry past Aaron’s lips? I love them both, I do, but I don’t really love seeing them sexy. But then I kinda do. I write a little 24 recap at Too Much Free Time and I’ve been frothing about the return of Martha for a few weeks.

And that hair! Love.

When I lived in Portland, I made many trips up to Seattle. That was where I first met Blake Lewis. It’s also where I first saw him naked. If you think he is hot with clothes on, wait until you see his naked ass. And boy, did he ever sing when . . . well . . . some things should be kept secret.

I just read an excellent intelligence report/analysis implyng that we are talking to Iran a little more than either side wants to admit, and the Iranians do not want to make the same mistake they made in 1979.

In 79 they blew their chance to negotiate with a weak US president and instead helped get Ronald Reagan elected and subsequent US support of their war with Iraq.

So here they are again in a crisis with us and we have a weak president with an unknown new one arriving in 2 years. According to this report we probably won’t attack them but reach some sort of agreement. Peace with Iran sure would be nice, but I just don’t trust them. I feel they need to agree to dismantle their nuke program under verification or we and/or Israel must do something.
