I always see 1:11. Whenever I'm on a long road trip I notice the 111 mile marker too. Dunno why as this number has no special significance to me. Don't worry, you're not as weird as you think you are (at least not in that respect hehe).

Slightly off topic, but I just found your site and checked out your profile. Wish I was as cool as you. The Internets told me I was most like Meg from Family Guy and I'm still reeling from the diagnosis.

Have a good weekend Van Duane.

I'm not sure if I have any weirdness like that going on, but since you're speaking of time, my clock is set to go off at 3 (that's AM, bitches), yet every morning this week, my eyes popped open at 2:37. I'm not sure WTF is up with that. And as for me, no, it wasn't a choice either, however, I wouldn't have it any other way even if it was.

I encounter 10:13 a lot. (Usually as a time, but not always; sometimes as a number of an apartment, or something else.) This has been happening for years. It's weird for me because 10:13 was a number that was often surreptiously inserted into scenes on the X-Files (I was a huge X-Files fan); I think it was Chris Carter's wife's birthday or something like that. I seem to encounter it everywhere - like you said, enough for me to notice and think, "Wow, that's weird."

Psychologists have a term for this, but I can't think of it. They say we simply notice things we are more inclined (subconciously) to look for. You may be more inclined to look for 8:26 because it's your birthday. Same with 10:13 for me bc of the X-Files connection. I don't know what I think about that, though, because I def. see 10:13 a lot.
