hump day blues

Apparently, today has decided to be “one of those days”… I will just get through it by listening to lots of Sarah McLachlan and the Carpenters, and hopefully staying dry. Hopefully, we will be back to our regularly scheduled programming tomorrow.

Till then!

UPDATE: Reading the “best of” on Craigslist can make anyone feel better; even me.

I went to brunch last weekend with a group of 10 female grade school teachers as the token gay guy. It was a LOT of fun but the second I got in my car I set my iPod to my MEGA-CARPENTERS playlist to get myself back to normal.

    Chin up kiddo : )

I think its something in the air - I’m feeling it too…

Tell me, what’s yer fave Sarah to listen to? I’ve been a fan of hers for AGES - seen her only 4 or 5 times in concert but each time was better than the last. Next time she’s in town I’m gonna go see her again…

I hope it goes by quickly. Yesterday was like that for me.

Hope you get to feeling better! We really do need to rendezvous for cheesecake. But I’ve come down with a rotten cold, so it’ll have to wait until after that’s over with… I wouldn’t want to infect you.

mine contains the lyric, “i’m hangin’ on a hoop, but i’m all right.”

Thanks everyone… It isn’t like I am holding a razor or anything; it is just a down feeling that I can’t shake… when I listen to down music (which I label as Carpenters or Sarah M… cause let’s face it, they have a lot of downer songs) it actually makes me feel a little better, like someone else relates right then and there.

No need to worry; I am sure it will pass… it always does!

Oh yeah, my favorite Sarah song is “Do What You Have To Do”; and my favorite Carpenters song is “Song For You”. I have MANY other favorites, but these two can be listened to on repeat anytime. Man, I am such a woman.

Duane, is it the weather? Actually I love this weather. It makes me feel alive. Warm sunny clear days are also ok, but the worst are these endless blue winter skies with no precipitation. Summer is Georgia is also horrid with its constant hazy heat and humidity.

The thing I like about your blog is that you post something even when you don’t have anything to say. I hate it when people go for days or weeks… and silence.

Anyway cheer up. Only two days till the weekend.

You really need to buy the Double CD of Casey Stratton’s DIVIDE. It works wonders and can go either way…
