Since I’ve been traveling, I missed out on the abortion debate. If one in 10 people are gay, think of all the future queers who are aborted.

Once again, the man (or, in this case, woman) is keeing us down.

P.S. Getting older doesn’t mean gaining financial security. If you don’t have the fundamentals in place by your early teens, life doesn’t change. You’re doing the right thing by setting money aside. Remember we want have children to pay our aging costs.

How does one survive on anything less than I make, if I am just getting by? I don’t live an extravagant lifestyle, so where is it going?

I think about that more often that I’d like to admit, and am frequently wracked with irrational guilt. I try to put it out of my mind. But it’s troubling thought.

Jay, you want to know the shitty part? I contribute 7% of my salary to 401k, I have a savings account, AND I have a personal IRA in which I contribute 100 bucks a month. I am doing all this saving, but feel so very poor!! WTF?!?!

Oh yeah, it is the credit card bills. Who doesn’t love trying to get by in grad school on nothing but warm air and a discover card?

Cheer up buddy. You’re fabulous and fabulous smart people attract money eventually. Statisically you really don’t start raking in the big bucks until your thirties anyway. Just think about setting up an IRA or the like now and don’t wait until you’re thirty, regardless of how much or little you make right now.

Anyway, I’m just pissed cause your not in your thirties and I am.

I hear ya Duane. Money sucks. I had to pay a $50 deductible to replace my stupid phone… Only 50 little bucks, but still when you have a budget set, even 50 bucks has an impact.
