Last night, we had a little get together with some of the bloggers that I know IRL, at our house. I wanted an opportunity to hang out with some cool people, and if I do say so myself, it was a cool bunch indeed. Conversation flowed like the alcohol; all night long. I didn’t get very many pictures, but the ones that I did can be found on my flickr page, and will soon be added on my photographs page. I am really glad that everyone came, and I honestly wish that we could do more things like this! And! The floor didn’t fall in, which was a total plus!! Next time, we will have to integrate Irish Car Bombs somehow, rather than just talking about them…
PS: If I talked your ear off, sorry about that… When I get a little of the devil’s juice in me, I lose the ability to turn off my motor. Also, (especially to dave, barry, and rebekah) I have no concept of something called “the passage of time”, so sorry I was still trying to get people to go out at 3am; I didn’t realize it was so late!! THAT’S how much fun it was!
And dave… any time you want, I will still beat you at Soul Calibur III. I am a champion.

I liked it, but it was a bit weird. Not what I was expecting at all. However, I read a review that said it was like watching the pilot, and then the first episode of a show, and I couldn't agree more. After it was over, I wanted to see where it would go next (in the third episode), but instead, it was over.

Okay, I was not expecting this movie to be this great! I was laughing out loud, and had a blast watching it. The animation is beautiful, and the humor in the story is great. What a fun movie!

While it was a good, campy movie, it was almost too over the top. Also, HOW did Pierce Brosnan get this role? He CANNOT sing!! My favorite number from the movie was Lay All Your Love On Me; it was positively fantastic!

I loved it. Heath Ledger was absolutely terrifying as the Joker; it was like watching someone truly crazy just be crazy. The only part I didn't like was how they portrayed Two Face. Other than that, another great Batman movie. Glad they reinvigorated the series.

Pure adrenaline and special effects goodness. The story is good, but I would like to have seen it end a little differently. James McAvoy's character is very, very likable too.

just so you know, the first night brando was in DC recently, i kept badgering seth to get us all another round of drinks. little did i know that the reason all of the TVs were off and the lights were on was because it was HOURS after last call.
so. my point is that the two of us should never be in the same town unless it’s new orleans, where there is no last call.
i’m thinking sometime in november. what do you think?

Dude, I totally kicked your ass at SC3… well, that one time at least. You know, the 1 out of like the 8 or 9 games we played but whatever… it’s not like you let me win, did you? You did seem to conveintly and easily fall off the ledge all 3 bouts… hmm…
We still haven’t had an official Phoenix blogger party but I think that’s because we all know and see each other so frequently. Sometimes a little too frequently : )
