I usually don’t post these “event info” type of posts, but this one is something everyone should be a part of; Wicked is coming to the ATL, and as of 15 minutes ago, the tickets are officially on sale to the public. Here’s the link. Listen to me when I tell you that this show will be worth whatever you pay to see it, it is fantastic. I saw it on Broadway, 7th row. It was everything I had ever dreamed it would be AND MORE. Now get your tickets bitches, and let’s go see a great show!!!!
UPDATE: As of today (Monday, Dec 5), the seats are pretty much almost gone. Get it on!
It’s an amazing show… seen it a few times and even my iPods are named after characters from the book. Does that make me gay and a geek? Yep.
while I generally like musicals, Wicked’s not something I’d pay to see - I read the book and hated it (I only finished it because I had this hope that it would get better), and haven’t really liked any of the bits of it I’ve seen on tv.
It came to St. Louis and sold out in like 3 hrs. Of course I didn’t get to see it…
That is always my luck. I heard that it was fantastic though.
I would love to see Wicked on Broadway, I have seen it in Chicago and Minneapolis, it is one of my favorite shows of all time. I keep hoping it will come to Des Moines, but I think it is going to be a while.
I’m so jealous of all of you. Wicked hasn’t come yet to Canada yet and my income as a student (i.e. next to nothing) doesn’t allow me to travel too far from home. Before Wicked was in New York, it was in San Francisco. I got to San Francisco the week after it closed. Hopefully I’ll actually run into it at some point…
