It seems to be the same concept as family/friends asking how the weather is when you talk to them on the phone. Whenever I call family (generally older relatives) they ask how the wheather is. Absent a hurricane or a storm, my instinctive response is what does it matter? Rain or shine, I still have to go to school, I will still have to walk the dog outside, and I will still be sleeping in my bed.

Funny thing is, I didn't even have a bad day! It is just something that has always pissed me off, and well, since it happened today, I guess I felt the need to sound off.

It was actually a really good day, I didn't want to say anything, out of fear that I would jinx it, and not get to see it; but I went to a free screening of RENT tonight... expect a review ASAP.

That's what you get for believing in people...

Along the same lines, I like it when you put on your coat or jacket and somebody says, "Are you cold?" I want to reply with, "No you fucking idiot, I'm wearing a jacket! I was cold, but now I'm not. Shut up and die." But that's just me ... I tend to come off abrasive sometimes.

Duane, are you having a bad day?

My favorite thing about the rain is when I am carrying an umbrella into work and I am nice and dry the entire walk, then right when I get near my building a car drives too close to the sidewalk and splashes me. Nothing pisses me off quite like that.
