I love that guy. I've been listening to Come On Feel the Illinoise almost non-stop lately. He is just incredible. On of my good friends is Mr. Indie music scene. He's turned me on to some incredible, unique music lately. But totally understandable feelings about being 'cool' enough. But don't we always worry about that? hehehe. But don't worry, you're cool. In that you look at what you review fully and give your opinion on it and that's all that really matters. So are you going to be reviewing more Indie music or movies or just whatever? Your writing is great - that's how I started reading it. Poor writing bores me and your site didn't, so here I am, still reading and commenting! As for the hierarchy of artistic styles - I think that you could provide something different. Besides, how could one know that they hate the mainstream if they've never heard it or at least found out why they might not like it? Also, chances are some of the hardcore indie folks have secret guilty pleasures. We all have them. And if you are too uncool for them, so what!? I'll still read your site and your reviews.
