Halloween, at least in our neighborhood is now officially renamed, “You Owe Me Something” day. Because, if you aren’t home, your car gets egged (thank GOD it was James’, not mine); and the kids don’t bother to dress up, and still expect the candy. I am still waiting for our drunk neighbor to stumble over. Can’t wait until You Owe Me Something day is over…

As a fan of other Kevin Smith movies, I was definitely pleased with his latest. It is raunchy, hilarious, and touching. That guy has the biggest heart, and is so good at making romance on screen believable. Also, as much as I was crushing on Seth Rogen before, I definitely love that guy even more now!

I thought it was really cute, and very funny. Amy Poehler is hilarious, and Tina Fey can really do no wrong in my eyes; everything I have ever seen from her is comedic gold. Also, Steve Martin may just be one of the funniest guys alive. He is just hilarious.

Hey, sounds like it’s your turn. Hide out back and when they come into your yard to egg the place - you egg them back from the darkness… wait - that will only last for 5 minutes and then they will return and burn the place down. I live at the end of a dead end street and you have to go past a whole row of crack houses to get to me. I guess that’s why I didn’t get any trick or treaters, or eggs on my car. The gay bar at the other end of the street probably keeps away a few parents as well. : )
That sucks! I wasn’t thinking it so much earlier, but now I’m really feeling lucky to have nice kids in my neighborhood. They were really nice tonight.
