friday-for-all

I don’t really have a lot for you all today, as it is definitely Friday, and I am having a case of the Fridays. I have also had a ton of work to get done today, as I am the ultimate procrastinator! Nothing is really planed for this weekend either, which should be nice; I need some serious R&R. The one thing that we have to do, is finish painting that porch this weekend… it is driving me nuts. James wants to check out Atlantic Station this weekend; has anyone else been? I can assume that it is crazy, but I hope that it isn’t that bad, because I hate groups of ignorant people!

On a different note, I got bored last night, and ended up wandering around my house for about 2 hours, just taking pictures of things. I found some pretty interesting things too, and you should check out the results: around the house pics . I had a lot of fun doing that. I am also going to get some of them onto flickr, if I could find 15 minutes to do it! HA!

Since it is Friday, and I really haven’t said anything of any value whatsoever today, I guess I should end with a funny story or something, hmm, let me see… I was once at a party when I was in college, and there were so many people there, I, along with a group of friends, were standing outside with everyone else. We happened to be right near a wall of bushes (seriously, the bushes made a wall between theirs and the neighbor’s yard) that people were going over to in order to “relieve” themselves. After we had been there for a while, I noticed two girls moving towards the hedges, talking about using the bathroom. Apparently, neither of them noticed that literally 20 or so guys had peed right there not 6 feet from them, and so they decided that the best idea would be to get out of sight; in/under/behind the bushes. About the time they got in and got situated, all you hear is, “Oh my God! I think something is leaking!” “What do you mean” “I feel something warm, and I don’t know where it is coming from!” “I feel it too!” (collectively) “OH MY GOD! THEY ARE PEEING ON US!”. Yeah, not only did they have to talk about it while it was happening, it took them a minute. That’s right, it took them a minute. And the best part is, both girls went home with someone that night.

Crank This:
Bjork - Army Of Me
Pussycat Dolls - Don’t Cha (Ralphi Rosario mix)
Postal Service - This Place is a Prison

My drunk friend thought it was snowing once, but it was pee from a rooftop splashing on her. She was dancing in it, it was the funniest thing I have ever seen!

I love that Lionel from Thundercats is the star of some of the house pics! Yay, I love the Thundercats.

    Have a good weekend!

What fun pictures! Love the Thundercats and the “many shades of Le Tigre”. What’s with the fuzzy cherries?

This montage makes us all want to visit your house. Blogger reunion 2006 at Duane’s place? (I guess it’s more of a “union” than a “reunion” if it’s the first one…)
