I often wonder what people see when they come here; do they just read the current entry and move on, or do they actually explore the site? I guess I am wondering how many people look at the other things that I have on here, that is, other than the blog stuff (not saying that the blog stuff isn’t enough to look at, but one does wonder). I have put many, many hours into building my own little home in cyberspace, and while I don’t feel the need to pressure people to check it out, a little piece of me tingles when someone mentions that they read some poem I wrote, or liked some movie that they watched because of one of my reviews. Feedback makes you feel good; hence why we are all blogging, right? But I digress. I don’t need constant feedback, but I am curious if any of my readers check out the other stuff, such as that stuff that is linked under “want more than the blog?”? I occasionally get an email or a comment under “just want to say hi”, and I know that some people are, but I guess I was just curious if the other stuff was too inconspicuous, and that may be why more people aren’t “jumping on board”. By a round of applause, how many of you check out the other stuff? And do you have suggestions on how I can make it so future people will want to do so? Let me know what you think. And then check the shit out. Damn.

Oh sure I plunk around your site. It’s really cool! I haven’t waded through the all of the “about me” section but I’ve read some. I guess I should do a similar post using your as a template, but wow, it’s long! I’ve checked out your poetry but only a few so far and your paintings, and some of your photos. What can I say, I have a lot of down time at work and the site is really interesting. I want to add similar content to my site someday such as some of my designs maybe or some pics. So yes, I’ve checked out few things here and there. But there’s a lot of stuff! Keep it up man! You’re a good creative person and those are the best ones.
I have looked over your photographs, and your random bits of advice. Very good stuff.
Thanks you guys!! You know, I started this site so long ago, and then about a year or so in added the blog. I was so discombobulated with everything, and now that I feel that it has a cohesive element to it, I guess I like to know that others like it… Expect more to come, though, I ain’t slowing down!!! =o) Thanks again!
You know…I haven’t looked around a lot but I’ve always meant to. I swear it must take up at least an hour everyday to read the blogs I love but every once and a while I get the chance to really look around a fellow blogger friend.
I get your RSS feed, so I mostly read your new posts through Bloglines, and then come over to the site if I want to leave a comment. I’ll check back occasionally on posts I commented on, to see if anyone had anything else to say (if I remember, that is).
Oh, and…
“I’m a cashew, let’s do this!!!”
Your page is great honey. Don’t worry.
I have checked out your photos section, but haven’t looked at the other stuff. I’m not really into poetry, but maybe I’ll have to see if you have any sage advice to offer me….
In my millions of stops here so far, I think I have read just about every inch of your blog by now. After I realized that you loved DDG as much as I do I started reading all your movie and music recs, I love em!
I Love Ya!! Sending you and big HUG!! I read everything on your site weekly if not daily. I love your poems - and yes, I’ve read the new one and I know who you are talking about - so I think - for your person(s) may also be mine.
Keep up the great job - stop hurting your head over this - if we didn’t love your site we would all just stop visiting and would not leave a comment every now and then. :>)
I’ve totally checked out your blog! I’m just a bit of a voyeur though and only now that I’ve started one do I really feel compelled to comment (cuz now I have something to offer back!). I mean, probably wouldn’t have come back had I not known that you were a Westlife-loving medical anthropologist… It’s too close to my being a Westlife-loving medical sociologist… I felt connected because of all the other stuff. Keep it up!
I thought this was espn.com. Sorry. If there where more pictures of me, I’d probably look at them more.

I like your blog! I, too, pretty much just went to the about me section to verify that — yes — you are a homo, because I just can’t go linking to non-homo’s pagess…. lol.. But, I am a lazy blogger and usually just read the most current message…
