a halloween/autumn treat

Continue talking about the war in the previous post, okay (seriously, don’t want to interupt…), but I wanted to bring my lovely readers a wonderful gift for Halloween!! I took some pumpkin pictures, and, since my favorite color is orange, I made a desktop background out of one of my favorites, AND, I am bringing it straight to you, so you can enjoy it! No seriously, download the thing and enjoy it. NOW! Just kidding… If you want it, you can get it by clicking on the link below the thumbnail version:

Totally awesome pumpkin desktop (like around 320k or something)

yeah, I know it rocks… Happy Autumn!

And a Taste of More to Come:
Cardigans - Explode
Cardigans - Erase/Rewind
Cardigans - Carnival

I love fall. It’s the perfect time of weather in Minnesota. Not so hot that you start to sweat upon entering the outdoors and not so cold that your ears feel like they’re going to fall off. I think if Annie Lennox had been from Minnesota, she’d either sing “Here comes the humidity again…” or “Here comes the freeze again…” Thankfully most of the year is not so extreme.

I always enjoy your pictures…happy halloween. Isn’t it technically on Monday?

Cool picture. Orange was Frank Sinatra’s favorite color, too. FYI.

Kiddo, no you didn’t pull and Annie Lennox on me. We are now best friends. Have you heard the new Eurythmics? Love it!

And Robin, Halloween is on Monday, but I wanted to spread the pumpkin cheer so that people could at least enjoy it a little before hand. Fun times!!! And, since it isn’t specifically a Halloween desktop, we can enjoy it well on to Thanksgiving! Rock on! Thanks for the props on the pics Robin. You should check out my new ones on flickr… I found this old train that I am in love with, and I am going to take more photos this weekend; but there are enough there to wet your appetite! Enjoy!

PJS: too bad I can’t sing like old blue eyes!!! I love orange. I always have. But I am sure that you can tell by my interjection of orange onto this site… =o)

Beautiful! Downloading and putting it on my desktop as we speak. Thanks!

Oh and there’s new Eurythmics???!! What? When? Where? Where have I been? I saw Annie Lennox with Sting a few months ago and it was a spectacular show!

I love autumn and pumpkin carving was one of the best memories I had as a kid. I usually wound up
designing some of the most gap toothed Jack o Lanterns around.

Is it sad I have no plans this saturday night? I think I may go to the movies with my boyfriend. I haven’t had a really good Halloween in many years.
