Yesterday, James and I celebrated our two year anniversary. (!!!) I don’t want to get all mushy, but I did want to say that this has been two of the best years of my life. I never thought that I would ever be able to meet someone that complements me so completely; nor did I see that I would be this happy those many years ago, when I sat lonely in the closet. If I would have known that James would be what I would have to look forward to, then I would have come out a long time ago!!
We just spent a quiet night together, relaxing. We went to Cheesecake Factory (James has been begging to go there), where I proceeded to feel like I was going to throw up the entire meal. I decided that we needed to get out of there, and we got some cheesecake and ran home. (The carrot cake cheesecake is to die for.) Even though that happened, it was a fun night, and it was great spending it with him. I am so excited about spending the rest of my life with someone that is so wonderful in so many ways. He also told me that before our three year anniversary, he wants to get married… here is hoping that it becomes legal in California or somewhere else, so that we can make that happen. But, if we even get close to that happening, for real, trust me when I say that there will be tons of gushing and details here on the old blog. Trust me.
Now enough of this sappy love stuff… Happy Anniversary to us! And on with the show…
